Ingredients
Scale
1 bottle (750ml) dry white wine (like Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc)
2 cups apple cider
1/2 cup brandy or apple brandy
1/4 cup orange liqueur (like Triple Sec or Cointreau)
1 orange, thinly sliced
1 apple, cored and thinly sliced
2 cinnamon sticks
1/4 cup fresh orange juice
Ice
Optional garnishes: cinnamon sticks, orange slices, apple slices
Instructions
In a large pitcher, combine the white wine, apple cider, brandy, and orange liqueur.
Add the sliced orange, sliced apple, and cinnamon sticks to the pitcher.
Stir in the fresh orange juice.
Cover the pitcher and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld.
Before serving, stir the sangria and pour over ice.
Garnish with extra cinnamon sticks, orange slices, or apple slices if desired.
Notes
For a sweeter sangria, you can add a tablespoon or two of honey or maple syrup when combining the liquids.
You can use different types of apples, such as Honeycrisp or Gala, for varied flavors.
If you don’t have brandy, you can substitute it with a different spirit like rum or vodka.
