Prepare this easy, no-bake Apple Cinnamon Overnight Oats recipe for a healthy, grab-and-go breakfast that tastes like apple pie. It is perfect for meal prepping and busy mornings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy for vegan option)
  • 1/2 cup finely diced apple
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. In a jar or container with a lid, combine the rolled oats and chia seeds.
  2. Add the milk, diced apple, maple syrup, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and salt to the jar.
  3. Stir all ingredients together well until everything is fully mixed. Make sure the chia seeds are not clumped at the bottom.
  4. Seal the container and place it in the refrigerator for at least 6 hours, or preferably overnight.
  5. In the morning, check the consistency. If it is too thick, add a splash more milk.
  6. Serve cold directly from the jar. You can add extra cinnamon or chopped nuts as a topping if you wish.

Notes

  • For a vegan option, use almond, soy, or oat milk.
  • If you want a protein boost, stir in 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder or 1/4 cup of Greek yogurt before chilling.
  • These oats keep well in the refrigerator for up to 4 days, making them excellent for weekly meal prep.
  • Dice the apples small so they soften nicely overnight.
