Make this quick and easy ham salad using leftover ham. It creates a creamy spread perfect for sandwiches or serving with crackers.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked ham, finely chopped or ground
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup celery, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill weed
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Place the chopped or ground ham in a medium mixing bowl.
  2. Add the mayonnaise, chopped celery, sweet pickle relish, yellow mustard, dried dill weed, black pepper, and salt to the bowl.
  3. Mix all ingredients together thoroughly until well combined and creamy.
  4. Taste the salad and adjust seasoning if needed.
  5. Cover the bowl and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving for best flavor.

  • For a smoother texture, pulse the ham in a food processor until finely ground before mixing.
