Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (12 count) slider buns
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 4 slices American cheese
  • 1/4 cup dill pickle slices
  • Special Sauce (recipe below)
  • For Special Sauce:
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp sweet pickle relish
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tsp white vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the ground beef, chopped onion, salt, and pepper. Form into 12 small patties, slightly larger than the slider buns.
  3. Cook the patties in a skillet over medium-high heat until browned and cooked through. Drain off any excess grease.
  4. While the patties are cooking, prepare the Special Sauce by whisking together all the special sauce ingredients in a small bowl.
  5. Slice the slider buns in half horizontally.
  6. Spread a layer of Special Sauce on the bottom half of each bun.
  7. Place a cooked beef patty on top of the sauce.
  8. Top each patty with a slice of American cheese and a few pickle slices.
  9. Place the top half of the slider bun over the pickles.
  10. Arrange the assembled sliders on a baking sheet.
  11. Bake for 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the buns are lightly toasted.
  12. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • You can prepare the Special Sauce ahead of time and store it in the refrigerator.
  • Adjust the amount of pickles and special sauce to your preference.
  • For an extra touch, you can lightly butter the tops of the buns before baking.
