  • 1 pound Italian sausage
  • 1 (24 ounce) jar marinara sauce
  • 1 (8 ounce) can refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook Italian sausage over medium heat until browned; drain excess grease.
  3. Stir in marinara sauce. Bring to a simmer.
  4. Cut each biscuit into quarters.
  5. In a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, spread the sausage and marinara sauce mixture evenly.
  6. Arrange the biscuit pieces over the sauce mixture.
  7. Sprinkle mozzarella and cheddar cheeses over the biscuits.
  8. Top with Parmesan cheese.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until biscuits are golden brown and cheese is melted and bubbly.
  10. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired.
