  • 1 cedar plank (12×6 inches)
  • 2 salmon fillets (6 ounces each)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Soak the cedar plank in water for at least 1 hour.
  2. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  3. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels.
  4. Brush the salmon with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Place the soaked cedar plank on the preheated grill.
  6. Once the plank is hot and begins to smoke, place the salmon fillets on top of it.
