Make this show-stopping Christmas Tree Cheesecake using Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes for an easy, festive, and nostalgic holiday dessert. This recipe is simple to assemble, perfect for your holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for crust)
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar (for filling)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 package Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes (about 10-12 cakes)
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips (optional, for ganache)
  • Green frosting (for decorating)
  • Holiday sprinkles (for decorating)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the crust: Mix graham cracker crumbs and 1/4 cup sugar. Add melted butter and press firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10 minutes. Cool completely.
  2. Prepare the filling: Beat softened cream cheese and 1 cup sugar until smooth. Mix in vanilla extract and sour cream. Beat in eggs one at a time, mixing just until combined. Do not overmix.
  3. Assemble the base: Pour half of the cream cheese filling over the cooled crust.
  4. Arrange Little Debbie Cakes: Cut the Little Debbie Cakes in half lengthwise. Stand the halves up vertically, cut side down, in a circular pattern, pressing gently into the filling to create a layered, tree-like effect. Leave a small space in the center.
  5. Pour remaining filling over the cakes, ensuring they are mostly covered.
  6. Bake: Bake at 325°F (160°C) for 45-55 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center has a slight jiggle.
  7. Cool and Chill: Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool in the oven with the door ajar for one hour. Remove and cool completely on a wire rack. Refrigerate for at least 6 hours, or preferably overnight.
  8. Decorate: Once chilled, carefully remove the springform ring. Frost the top of the cheesecake using green frosting to resemble a tree shape or garland. Decorate with sprinkles to mimic ornaments.

Notes

  • For a no-bake version, skip the crust baking step and use sweetened condensed milk mixed with cream cheese instead of eggs and sour cream. Chill thoroughly.
  • If you cannot find Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes, use plain vanilla wafer cookies or vanilla Oreos for the layers.
  • Place a pan of water on the bottom rack of the oven while baking to help prevent cracking.
  • Use a small offset spatula to help smooth the frosting for a cleaner look.
