Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tube (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a mini muffin tin.
  2. In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and 1/4 cup granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Unroll the crescent roll dough and press the seams together to form a flat sheet. Cut the dough into 12 equal pieces.
  5. Press each piece of dough into the cups of the prepared mini muffin tin, forming a shell.
  6. Spoon the cream cheese mixture evenly into each crescent roll shell.
  7. In a small bowl, combine 1/4 cup granulated sugar and cinnamon.
  8. Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the cream cheese filling in each bite.
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the crescent roll dough is golden brown and the filling is set.
  10. Let the bites cool in the tin for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
  11. Drizzle with melted butter before serving, if desired.

Notes

  • For an even richer flavor, you can add a pinch of nutmeg to the cinnamon sugar mixture.
