Ingredients
Scale
1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1-2 tablespoons milk
Instructions
Preheat your waffle iron according to manufacturer’s instructions.
Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
In a small bowl, mix together the granulated sugar and cinnamon.
Dip each crescent roll triangle into the cinnamon-sugar mixture, coating both sides.
Place one coated crescent roll triangle onto the preheated waffle iron.
Close the waffle iron and cook for 3-5 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
Carefully remove the waffle from the iron.
While the waffle is cooking, whisk together the powdered sugar and milk in a small bowl until smooth to create a glaze. Add more milk if needed to reach desired consistency.
Drizzle the glaze over the warm cinnamon roll waffle.
Repeat with remaining crescent roll dough.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a pinch of nutmeg to the cinnamon sugar mixture.
