Ingredients
Scale
1/2 cup Rolled Oats (ensure certified gluten-free)
1 tablespoon Chia Seeds
1/4 cup Unsweetened Shredded Coconut
1 tablespoon Sliced Almonds (plus extra for topping)
1 cup Milk (Dairy or non-dairy like almond milk)
1 teaspoon Maple Syrup (optional)
1/4 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Instructions
In a jar or container with a lid, combine the rolled oats, chia seeds, shredded coconut, and sliced almonds.
Pour in the milk, maple syrup (if using), and vanilla extract.
Stir all ingredients well until everything is fully mixed. Make sure no dry clumps remain at the bottom.
Seal the container with a lid and place it in the refrigerator.
Let it set for a minimum of 6 hours, or preferably overnight.
In the morning, stir the oats again. If the mixture is too thick, add a splash more milk until you reach your preferred consistency.
Top with extra sliced almonds or fresh fruit before you eat.
Notes
Always use certified gluten-free rolled oats to keep this recipe safe for your diet.
Feel free to substitute almond milk with any milk you prefer.
Adjust the maple syrup to control sweetness.
For a creamier texture, use canned full-fat coconut milk instead of regular milk.
