Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup cooked chicken breast, diced
  • 1/2 cup hard-boiled eggs, sliced

  • 1/4 cup baby carrots
  • 1/4 cup snap peas
  • 1 tablespoon almonds

Instructions

  1. Prepare all your ingredients: dice the chicken, slice the eggs, cube the cheese, halve the grapes, and have the carrots, snap peas, almonds, and peanut butter ready.
  2. Arrange the chicken, eggs, cheese, grapes, carrots, and snap peas in separate compartments of a bento box or a container with dividers.
  3. Place the almonds in a small section.
  4. Add a small container or dollop of peanut butter for dipping or as a side.
  5. Close the box and enjoy your homemade protein box for lunch.

Notes

  • Feel free to substitute chicken with turkey or tofu for a different protein.
  • Other cheese options include Colby Jack or Swiss.
  • Berries like blueberries or strawberries can be used instead of grapes.
  • Other vegetable options include cherry tomatoes, cucumber slices, or bell pepper strips.
  • A variety of nuts like walnuts or cashews work well.
  • Hummus or a different nut butter can be used instead of peanut butter.
