2 pounds frozen shredded hashbrowns, thawed
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup melted butter
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup chopped onion (optional)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
In a large bowl, combine the thawed hashbrowns, sour cream, melted butter, cream of chicken soup, cheddar cheese, salt, and pepper. If using, add the chopped onion.
Mix everything together until well combined.
Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
Bake for 45-55 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
