Make this easy, loaded stuffed bread filled with seasoned ground beef, bacon, and three kinds of cheese. It is perfect for game days or a hearty family meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (13.8 ounce) package refrigerated pizza dough
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup cooked, crumbled bacon
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon water

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain off any excess grease.
  3. Stir the onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper into the cooked beef. Remove from heat.
  4. In a bowl, combine the seasoned beef, crumbled bacon, mozzarella cheese, cheddar cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, and sour cream. Mix well until everything is evenly distributed.
  5. Unroll the pizza dough onto a lightly floured surface. If the dough is too thick, roll it slightly thinner into a rough rectangle shape, about 12 by 16 inches.
  6. Spoon the meat and cheese mixture down the center third of the dough, leaving a 1-inch border on all sides.
  7. Fold the long sides of the dough over the filling, overlapping them slightly in the center to seal the bread. Pinch the ends closed firmly to prevent the filling from escaping.
  8. Carefully transfer the sealed loaf onto the prepared baking sheet.
  9. In a small bowl, whisk together the beaten egg and water to create an egg wash. Brush the entire surface of the bread with the egg wash.
  10. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly inside.
  11. Let the bread cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • You can substitute the ground beef with ground sausage or shredded cooked chicken for variety.
  • For extra flavor, brush the top with melted garlic butter before baking instead of the egg wash.
  • This bread freezes well; cool completely, wrap tightly, and freeze for up to three months. Thaw overnight and reheat at 350 degrees Fahrenheit until warm.
