Ingredients
Scale
2 ripe bananas, frozen
1 cup cold milk (dairy or non-dairy)
1/4 cup strong brewed coffee, chilled
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tablespoon sugar or sweetener (adjust to taste)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
4-6 ice cubes (optional, for extra frostiness)
Instructions
Place the frozen bananas, cold milk, chilled coffee, cocoa powder, sugar, and vanilla extract into a high-powered blender.
Add the optional ice cubes if you desire a thicker, icier texture.
Secure the lid and blend on high speed until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy. Stop and scrape down the sides as needed.
Taste the shake. Add more sweetener if needed and blend for a few extra seconds.
Pour the Frosty Mocha Banana Shake into a tall glass.
Serve immediately and enjoy your cool, caffeinated treat!
Notes
For a richer chocolate flavor, use dark cocoa powder.
If you prefer a colder shake without ice diluting the flavor, ensure your bananas are well-frozen.
You can substitute regular coffee with espresso for a stronger coffee punch.
This shake pairs well with a sprinkle of chocolate shavings on top.
