This jalapeño popper dip is a warm, cheesy, and slightly spicy baked party favorite. It’s loaded with creamy cheese, diced jalapeños, and crispy bacon, making it a crowd-pleasing appetizer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh jalapeños (seeds removed for less heat)
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise. Mix until smooth and well combined.
  3. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, chopped jalapeños, and garlic powder.
  4. Fold in most of the crumbled bacon, reserving some for topping.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to your preference.
  6. Pour the mixture into a small baking dish (an 8×8 inch dish works well).
  7. Top with the remaining crumbled bacon.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the dip is heated through and bubbly around the edges.
  9. Serve warm with your favorite dippers like tortilla chips, crackers, or vegetable sticks.

Notes

  • For a spicier dip, leave some of the jalapeño seeds in.
  • You can add a pinch of cayenne pepper for extra heat.
  • If you don’t have fresh jalapeños, you can use pickled jalapeños, but drain them well first.
