1 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 scoop vanilla or unflavored protein powder

1/2 cup frozen pineapple chunks
1/4 cup fresh mint leaves
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1/2 small banana (frozen optional)
Ice (optional, for thicker consistency)
Instructions
Place the almond milk into your blender first.
Add the protein powder, spinach, pineapple, mint leaves, chia seeds, and banana.
Secure the lid tightly.
Blend on low speed initially, then increase to high speed.
Blend until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy. Stop and scrape down the sides if needed.
If you prefer a colder, thicker smoothie, add a few ice cubes and blend again until incorporated.
Pour immediately into a glass and enjoy your sweet breakfast.
Notes
Chef Tariq suggests adding a squeeze of lime juice for an extra layer of brightness.
If you do not have frozen pineapple, use fresh and add more ice.
Adjust the amount of mint to suit your preference; start small if you are new to mint in smoothies.
