3-4 pound beef chuck roast
1 (1 oz) packet ranch seasoning mix
1 (1 oz) packet brown gravy mix
1/2 cup water
1 cup pepperoncini peppers, with juice
1 tablespoon butter
Instructions
Place the beef chuck roast in your slow cooker.
In a small bowl, whisk together the ranch seasoning mix, brown gravy mix, and water until smooth.
Pour the seasoning mixture over the roast.
Add the pepperoncini peppers and their juice around the roast.
Dot the top of the roast with butter.
Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high for 4-5 hours, until the beef is tender and shreds easily.
Shred the beef directly in the slow cooker and stir to coat with the juices before serving.
Notes
For an even richer flavor, you can sear the roast before placing it in the slow cooker.
Adjust the amount of pepperoncini peppers to your spice preference.
