Enjoy the classic campfire taste of s’mores in an easy-to-make bar. These bars feature layers of gooey marshmallow, rich chocolate, and crunchy graham crackers, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chopped semi-sweet chocolate
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine melted butter, graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup of the granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and salt. Press this mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  3. Bake the crust for 10 minutes.
  4. While the crust bakes, prepare the filling. In a small saucepan, heat the remaining 1 cup of granulated sugar and milk over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the sugar dissolves and the mixture is smooth.
  5. Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the chopped chocolate until it is completely melted and the mixture is smooth.
  6. Pour the chocolate mixture evenly over the baked graham cracker crust.
  7. Sprinkle the mini marshmallows evenly over the chocolate layer.
  8. Bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the marshmallows are golden brown and puffy.
  9. Let the bars cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares.

Notes

  • For a stronger chocolate flavor, use dark chocolate chips.
  • If you don’t have mini marshmallows, you can use larger marshmallows cut into pieces.
  • Ensure the bars are completely cooled before cutting to prevent them from falling apart.
