Ingredients
Scale
1 cup frozen spinach
1/2 cup frozen mango chunks
1/2 frozen banana
1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk (or liquid of choice)
1 scoop vanilla protein powder (optional)
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Pinch of ground nutmeg
For Topping: Sliced almonds, chia seeds, fresh berries
Instructions
Place the spinach, mango, banana, almond milk, protein powder (if using), cinnamon, and nutmeg into a high-speed blender.
Start blending on low, gradually increasing the speed. You may need to stop and scrape down the sides.
Add only small amounts of extra liquid if the mixture is too thick to blend. The goal is a very thick consistency, like soft-serve ice cream.
Spoon the thick smoothie mixture into a bowl.
Arrange your desired toppings like sliced almonds, chia seeds, and fresh berries over the top.
Serve immediately and enjoy your spiced green bowl.
Notes
For a colder bowl, freeze your spinach ahead of time.
Adjust the spices to match your preference for warmth.
If you do not have frozen fruit, use fresh fruit and add 3-4 ice cubes.
